**My Thoughts on the Workshop Experience**
I don’t expect you to build the entire instrument on your own from scratch — and honestly, I don’t recommend it either.
Like many types of craftsmanship, making a Propanota involves a lot of repetitive steps. That’s why, in this workshop, even doing “just a little” is perfectly fine.
The real goal of this experience isn’t just to make an instrument, but to help you become comfortable playing it afterwards.
This particular Propanota has six tones. It’s not designed for playing melodies, but rather for free, intuitive, and improvisational expression — which requires a bit of a percussionist’s mindset.
If you’re involved in just 30% of the process, that’s more than enough. I’ll handle the rest, while also showing you playing techniques and letting you explore other instruments in the studio.
After all, the most important thing is that you feel confident using the instrument you’ve helped bring to life.
Of course, if you really want to build it 100% by yourself, you’re more than welcome — just keep in mind it may take more than a day!
